Crowned Legacy
The Discipline Dividend

You invested in your suit. We invest in you.

The Discipline Dividend is simple. When your body changes past what a garment can be altered to fit, Crowned Legacy remakes it. One complimentary remake per garment, no expiry, no explanation required. Most tailors profit when your body changes. This is the opposite of that.

The promise

What it is.

Every garment has a limit. The Perfect Fit Guarantee covers alteration for the life of the suit, and alteration reaches further than most men expect: waist, sleeve, hem, seat, suppression. But a jacket cut for a 42 chest cannot become a 48. That requires new cloth, a new pattern, and a new build.

When you reach that limit, the Discipline Dividend covers the rebuild. Once per garment. No time limit. Whenever it happens.

The trigger

How it works.

There is no threshold to hit and no story to tell. We remeasure the garment at a fitting. If the change has moved past what alteration can reach, the remake begins.

The cause of the change is not a condition. Neither is the direction. A body that changed through training and a body that changed for any other reason are treated the same way, because the tape measure does not ask why, and neither do we.

The cloth

What you are remade in.

The remake uses the same cloth as the original commission wherever the mill still offers it. When a cloth has been discontinued, we select a comparable one together, so the new garment is as close to the first as the market allows. When an alteration would not be possible, the remake is a full commission: new pattern, new cloth, the same forty hours of handwork.

From the founder

A note from Sam.

You invested in your suit. I invest in you. If the work you put into your body outgrows the garment, that is not a problem you should pay to fix. It is the reason I keep your pattern on file. You come back, we remeasure, and I build it again.

Frequently asked

What clients ask about the remake.

What is the Discipline Dividend?
It is a complimentary remake of a garment when your body changes past what the garment can be altered to fit. It applies once per garment, has no expiry, and does not require you to explain the cause of the change. It is separate from the Perfect Fit Guarantee, which covers alteration for the life of the garment.
What triggers a remake?
A body change that exceeds the alteration scope of the existing garment, verified by remeasurement at a fitting. If the suit can still be altered to fit, that is covered at no charge under the Perfect Fit Guarantee. If it cannot, the Discipline Dividend covers the rebuild.
Does it matter why or how my body changed?
No. The cause and the direction of the change are not conditions. Whether you gained or lost, and however it happened, the remake is the same. We remeasure, and if the alterations no longer reach, the garment is rebuilt.
What cloth is the remake made in?
The same cloth as the original commission where the mill still offers it, or a comparable cloth chosen together where the original is no longer available. When an alteration would not be possible, the remake is a full build.
